Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

In this third Diary movie Greg is trying to have a fun summer vacation and hang with Holly Hills. But with Greg's family nothing is normal. With civil war reenactments and trips to the country club and camping trips it's anything but normal and as you can suspect with this movie it's fiasco after fiasco, but in the end it comes together and makes for a good kids movie. I think this movie can be quite predictable and actually really funny. Although sometimes I did wish that that something would go right. I recommend this to little kids at ages 7+. Rated PG for some rude humor. 1 hour and 34 minutes. Starring Zachery Gorden, Robert Capron, Devon Bostick, Steve Zahn, Peyton List, and Rachael Harris. Grade B-.

The Dark Knight Rises

In this 3rd batman Bruce Wayne has hung up his cape and taken the fall for Two Face's crimes from the second Dark Knight film. With new criminal Bane on the loose Bruce Wayne must put the cape back on and fight for what may remain of Gotham. I think this batman be a bit slow at certain times but it has a lot of potential and new toys. This movie is great, but see the first two. I recommend this movie. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language. 2 hours and 45 minutes. Starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Micheal Caine, and Gary Oldman. Grade B.

Contraband

Contraband is about family man Chris (Mark Wahlberg) who will do anything to keep his family safe, which ends up helping his brother in law not get killed. I really enjoyed watching Contraband, I really thought it had a lot of twist and turns and it was such a good movie.Lots of curse words. I recommend this movie. Rated R for Pervasive language. 1 hour and 56 minutes. Starring Mark Walhberg, Ben Foster, Caleb Landry Jones, Robert Wahlberg. Baltasar Kormakur. Grade B+.
