Dolphin Tale

Dolphin Tale is about a little kid (Nathan Gamble) who finds an injured dolphin and helps a marine biologist (Dennis Quaid) put a new tale on the dolphin. I realiy enjoyed dolphin tale because I personaly thought it was a good movie and was insprational. I reccommend this movie for everyone. Starring Nathen Gamble, Dennis Quaid,Harry Connick Jr., and Morgan Freeman. PG-13 forsome mild thematic elements. Directed byCarles Martin Smith. Grade B.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Rise of the Planet of the Apes is about an ape that lives with a family and becomes happy and friendly but is forced to go to an animal shelter and adapt. I think Riser of the Planet of the Apes is a good movie but a little hard to watch. I think Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a time see. I recommend this movie for people 10 and up. Rated PG-13 for violence and language. 1 hour 58 minutes.Starring James Franco, Frieda Pinto, John Lithgrow, Tom Felton. Directed by Rupert Wyatt. Grade B-.

Captain America: The First Avenger

Captain America is about a man named Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) who wants to serve in World War II, but couldn't get in so a Doctor (Stanley Tucci) does an experiment on him that turns him into the world's first Super Soldier and he takes the name Captain America. I think Captain America is a fantastic action packed super hero movie that never lets you go until the very end. I highly recommend this movie for people ages 8 and up. Rated PG-13 for violence. 2 hours 5 minutes. Starring Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, and Hugo Weaving. Directed by Joe Johnston. Grade B+.  

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is about Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliff) who sets off with his friends(Rupert Grint, Emma Watson) to destroy Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). I think Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is a fantastic movie that at parts was funny and sometimes a little dark, it was all great. I know that Harry Potter 7 Part 2 is my favorite Harry movie. At the end everyone was cheering so loudly that you couldn't hear the theme song. I highly recommend this movie. PG-13 for some sequences of intense action violence and frightening images. 2 hours 10 minutes. Starring Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Ralph Fiennes and Alan Rickman. Zoo Keeper

 Zoo Keeper is about a man (Kevin James) who discovers that animals can talk then has help on how to get the girl of his dreams. I think Zoo Keeper is a fun movie that will have who laughing every minute. It's a great movie to take your kids to see on a rainy day. I recommend this movie. Rated PG for no reason. 1 hour 44 minutes. Starring Kevin James, Leslie Bibb, Rosario Dawson, voices of Cher, Sylvester Stallone, Maya Rudolph, and Nick Nolte. Directed by Frank Coraci. Grade B-.

Green Lantern

 Green Lantern is about a pilot (Ryan Reynolds) who is chosen by a green ring to become a Green Lantern warrior and the planet Earth from a evil villain (Peter Sarsgaard). I think Green Lantern is a good movie, but at some moments I thought it was a little disturbing. I sorta recommend this movie. PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence. 1 hour and 45 minutes. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, and Mark Strong. Directed by Martin Campbell. Grade C+.

Mr. Popper's Penguins

Mr. Popper's Penguins is about a business man (Jim Carrey) who was given six penguins from his father and decides to take care of them. I think Mr. Popper's Penguins is a cute movie with a lot of laughs, I can honestly say I love this movie and that it has something for everyone. I recommend this movie. PG for mild rude humor, some language. 1 hour 30 minutes Starring Jim Carrey, Carla Gugina, and Angela Lansbury. Directed by Mike Walters. Grade B+.

Super 8

Super 8 is about a few kids that are making a movie (Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney, Kyle Chandler) while odd things happen in their town. I think Super 8 is a heart stopping thriller from the beginning to the very end. I recommend this movie to people that don't get scared easily. 1 hour 52 minutes. Starring Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney, and Kyle Chandler. Directed by J. J Adams. Grade B+.

Cars 2

 Cars 2 is about a race car (Owen Wilson) who competes in the World Grand Prix while his friend Mater (Larry the Cable guy) Becomes an international spy. I think Cars 2 is a funny and fun movie for all ages especially if you liked Cars. Rated G for all ages permitted. 1 hour 54 minutes. Starring Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Eddie Izzard, John Torturro, Emily Mortimer, and Thomas Kretschmann. Directed by John Lasseter. Grade B-.

X-Men: First Class

X-Men First Class is about a team of mutants led by Charles( James McAvoy) and Erik( Michael Fassbender) to stop a nuclear war. I think X-Men is a great movie, but I don't recommend this movie for younger children. I recommend this movie for ages 8 and up. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, some sexual content including brief partial nudity and language. 2 hours 11 minutes. Starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kevin Bacon. Directed by Matthew Vaughn. Grade B.

Pirates of the Carribean: On Strager Tides

Pirates of the Carribean 4 is about pirates (Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush ) who are in search of the Fountain of Youth. I think Pirates of the Carribean 4 is better than the third, equal to the second, and worse than the first. I thought there were moments that were disturbing but I really enjoyed the movie.I recommend this movie to people older than 7 yr. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action/ adventure violence, some frightening images, sensuality and innuendo. 2 hours 16 minutes. Starring Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, and Ian McShane. Directed By Rob Marshall. Grade B.

Cave of Forgotten Dreams

  Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a documentary about the forty to thirty thousand year old paintings drawn by Upper Paleolithic man. I think Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a fascinating documentary about the amazing Chauvet-Pont d' Arc in southern France. I highly recommend this movie. 1 hour 30 min. Rated G for All Ages Permitted. Documented by Werner Herzog. Narrated by Werner Herzog. Directed by Werner Herzog. Grade A.

Just Go With It

 Just Go With It is about a guy (Adam Sandler) who has his friend (Jennifer Aniston) help cover a lie he told his girlfriend(Brooklyn Decker). I think Just Go With It was funny because everybody has moments where they say or do something funny. I liked that most of the movie they were in Hawaii. Sometimes people would steal the stage but it all turned out well. I recommend this movie. 1 hour 50 minutes. Rated PG-13 for frequent crude and sexual content, partial nudity, brief drug references, and language. Starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, and Brooklyn Decker. Directed by Dennis Dugan. Grade C-.

Gnomeo & Juliet

      Gnomeo & Juliet is about two garden gnomes (James McAvoy, Emily Blunt) who love each other but their families are rivals. I think Gnomeo & Juliet is a family comedy because there was nothing inappropriate and there was a lot of laughs. Sometimes the talking lost me, but I still liked it. I recommend this movie. Rated G all ages allowed. 1 hour 24 minutes. Micheal Caine, Maggie Smith, Emily Blunt, and James McAvoy. Directed by Kelly Asbury.Grade B.

The Eagle

  The Eagle is about a young warrior ( Channing Tutam) and his slave (Jamie Bell) who try to get back a piece of Roman pride a.k.a the eagle. I think The Eagle is a movie of battles and twists because the whole movie they were battling people and tricking some others. This movie did have trouble holding back on the violence with cutting off heads and torturing people. I recommend this movie for older people. Rated PG-13 for battle sequences, and some disturbing images. 1 hour 54 minutes. Starring Channing Tutam, Tahar Rahim, and Jamie Bell. Directed by Kevin Macdonald. Grade B-.

True Grit

  True Grit is about a girl's (Hailee Steinfeld)  dad who was killed so she has a man of true grit (Jeff Bridges) to hunt him down and kill him. I think this classic movie: True Grit is fantastic from the comedy to the action because the gun shots and showdowns were awesome. But the comedy was unbeatable. I highly recommend this movie. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of Western violence, some disturbing images. 1 hour 50 minutes. Starring Jeff Bridges, Hailee Stiefeld, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin. Directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. Grade A.

Gulliver's Travels

 Gulliver's Travels is about a mail room loser (Jack Black) who travels to the Bermuda Triangle for some research to impress a girl (Amanda Peet). But gets in some big time trouble. I think Gulliver's Travels wasn't gripping and was lame because it was hard to understand all the stories in it and options of the tiny people changed all the time. Rated PG for brief rude humor, mild language, and action. 1 hour 25 minutes. Starring Jack Black, Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, and Amanda Peet. Directed by Ron Letterman. Grade C-.

Little Fockers

  Little Fockers is about a male nurse named Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) who isn't good enough for the father in-law ( Robert De Niro) but turns out to be the golden one. I think Little Fockers is a funny movie mostly because of Ben Stiller but the children add a lot of humor to it. I recommend this movie. Rated PG-13 for mature sexual humor throughout, language, drug content.1 hour 38 minutes. Starring Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman Barbara Streissand, Blythe Danner, and Teri Polo. Directed by Paul Weitz. Grade B-.

Yogi Bear

 Yogi Bear is about a bear named Yogi (Dan Aykroyd) and his pal Boo Boo ( Justin Timberlake) who try to save beloved Jellystone Park. I think Yogi Bear is a great family comedy because it's very appropriate and the two bears are hilarious and adventurous.I highly recommend this movie. Rated PG for no reason. 1 hour 19 minutes. Starring Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Daly, Tom Cavanaugh, and Anna Faris. Directed by Eric Brevig. Grade B+.

The Green Hornet

 The Green Hornet is about a partying 30 year old (Seth Rogen) who teams up with his dad's mechanic ( Jay Chou) to save lives, but pose as villains. While a real villain ( Christoph Waltz) tries to kill them. I think The Green Hornet is a movie that doesn't hold back on the comedy or action because mostly everything Seth Rogen's character said was funny. It was a lot of gun shots and deaths but I knew that would happen. I recommend this movie. Rated PG-13 for violent action, language, sensuality, and drug content. 1 hour 58 minutes. Starring Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Tom Wilkinson, and Cameron Diaz. Directed by Micheal Gondry. Grade B.
